Starving I reached into bins for food,
Slept amongst plates of cold doner meat
Mountains of crisps

My dad had no food
Methylated my DNA
Now cursed to bend to it

My grandmother's eggs
turned out rather funny
She was 14 and married

So I turn to the gym
Every addiction
Bar the usual

I am mesmorised
And mesmorise
I am high on spit

Alive still
Thanks to modern medicine
ten years my junior

I see the future
I am aware of the past
And this is my present

Much can happen with the present, the past can't be erased, all we have to work is today.
